Customer Reviews: Lovely Art-Nouveau additions for your library December 5, 2008 Dancing Ganesha (Northern Hemisphere) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are very inexpensive, yet look like aged antiques, with patina and all. Also sturdy despite seemingly delicate appearance. A beautiful addition to one's library for anyone who likes Art Nouveau/Fin-de-Siecle decor. Highly recommended.
Shockingly gorgeous February 3, 2010 S. Woodhouse (NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to say, I ordered these because they were cheap, figuring they'd go straight to Goodwill. I had seen them on EBay (more expensive) and wanted something to go with a blue and green British Raj decor I'm finishing up (a study). So, even with the art deco trim and cheap price, I took a shot. Hey, they're peacocks, right? I was just shocked at how lovely they are and how expensive they seem. They look hand painted, and you can't tell it's resin or whatever it is. I am so glad I ordered two sets. I am a picky decorator, and these look so good I'm feeling almost guilty.
