The black cat bookends are adorable. They are just as pictured. They are heavy enough to be able to support normal sized books.

These cat book ends are adorable, but the quality is lacking. They're not not really iron, but rather, iron coated. The inside is plaster and the outside is coated with some kind of metal. When I initially received the set, one of the legs was chipped. I didn't return it as it was a small chip, and I didn't realize there was actually plaster inside of it. I've only had the set for just over 3 months. I tipped one of the cats over while dusting - this was less than 6 inches onto a wood surface - and the head cracked. Since I've had the set over a month, I can't return it. I really love how cute these are, but unfortunately, one of mine will have a large glue crack line now (that is, if it will even hold together).
